Clients Rights and Responsibilities

Our promises to and expectations of the families we serve

At Pine Creek Animal Hospital, we share your goals of having healthy and happy pets. We believe that trust, clear expectations, and mutual respect are the foundation of strong and lasting relationships. To support this, we have created our Client Rights and Responsibilities.

We kindly ask you to review the items listed below. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Practice Manager or Medical Director. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following these guidelines to ensure the best care for your beloved pets.

Both clients and team members will:

  • Communicate respectfully.
    • Harassment and other exclusionary behaviors, in addition to shouting, using offensive language, and causing disruptions in patient care will not be tolerated.
  • Practice patience and understanding, along with empathy and compassion.
  • Collaborate for the best interest of the animal, specifically, develop and perform the agreed-upon treatment plan including any necessary follow-up visits and at-home care.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere for all people and pets.

Our clients can expect:

  • Professional responsibility. Our licensed veterinarians and credentialed team members will provide ethical care based on the pet’s needs while upholding state laws surrounding pet ownership, licensing, and required vaccinations.
  • A presentation of accurate, clear, and unbiased information regarding your pet’s health based on our capabilities and resources. We will also offer a thorough discussion about our recommended next steps.
  • Detailed estimates, provided in advance when possible, for all services and treatments.
  • Welcomed positive and constructive feedback. We are continuously seeking and evaluating opportunities to meet and exceed your expectations.
  • Assurance that your personal, financial, and pet’s medical data will be handled confidentially and securely.

Our team members ask for:

  • Clear communication and detailed information about your pet. Be upfront and honest with our team. Ask questions and share your concerns throughout the examination, as the more we know, the better we can help.
  • Appointment courtesy for both you and other clients. We expect everyone to arrive on time (*if not early) for their appointments and, should the occasion arise, call to cancel at least 24 hours ahead of their scheduled time. Please understand that emergencies can happen and may cause added wait times.
  • Awareness of your financial obligations, as payment is due at the time of service. We will offer our gold standard of care regardless of an owner’s financial situation.
  • Willing involvement in pet ownership to ensure healthy habits of exercise, proper diet, routine preventative care, and necessary vaccinations.

Thank you for choosing us as your trusted clinic. Together, with your first-hand knowledge and our quality services, we can ensure a lifetime of happiness for your pet. Welcome to the Pine Creek Animal Hospital family!
